An opportunity for to meet and converse with other Irish speakers in Manchester. This takes place on the last thursday of every month at The Jolly Angler pub, Ducie Street Manchester, from 9pm onwards. A competent level of Irish will be required as all conversation will be through Irish.
An occasional social gathering with music and chat in both Irish and English. During the summer break this takes place at at a number of pubs in South Manchester, wherever there are sessions taking place.
A Bun-Comhrá or basic conversation for those whose ability is not good enough for the monthly Comhrá at the Jolly Angler. This only takes place during the term time, Tuesdays 7:30-8:00 pm, St Kentigerns Social club, Fallowfield.
Once or twice a year we put together a quiz fully in Irish. The questions are not mastermind level, but expect a fw quirky rounds to keep you on your toes.
