The Manchester Irish Language Group is a voluntary community organisation who provide free weekly Irish language classes for adults as well as regular cultural activities in the Manchester area.
The aims of the group are to promote the Irish language and an awareness of Irish culture for all people and membership of the group is open to all who agree with these aims.
The group was founded in he early 2000's and based originally at Chorlton Irish club before relocating to St Kentigerns in Fallowfield.
Manchester Irish Language Group is affiliated to the Federation of Irish Societies.
